Clove, also known as Syzygium aromaticum, is a pungent, aromatic spice made from the flower buds of an evergreen tree. They are widely used in Indian cuisine and also appear in a variety of sweet dishes. Clove is a traditional Ayurvedic medication in the Indian subcontinent, in addition to being used in cooking.

Cloves are commonly used in the treatment of tooth pain and other oral problems such as gum disease and gingivitis because they can relieve pain and kill bacteria. It's a common ingredient in many types of toothpaste because of its pain-relieving abilities.

ACNE

Consider using cloves as an acne treatment at home if you're dealing from breakouts. Mix a teaspoon of clove powder with some raw honey and apply it directly to the affected areas.  Allow to dry completely before rinsing. In 2-3 days, you will notice a difference.

BONE PRESERVATION

Clove is found to help maintain bone density and mineral content. They also help osteoporosis patients strengthen the tensile strength of their bones.
